Reocean AB has been granted up to SEK 30 million

Reocean AB has been granted up to SEK 30 million, distributed across five investment grants, under the measure *Start-up support for sustainable aquaculture* within the Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme 2021–2027.

The support from the Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme is partially financed by funds from the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).

Support has been granted for the following areas:

1. Environmentally sound water supply and return water management for fish farming (Ref. No. 2025-1958)

The support concerns the purchase of buffer tanks for fresh water, return water and sludge, UV equipment, pipes, valves, pumps, instrumentation, a backup power generator with switchgear, and a diesel storage tank. The objective of the investment is to establish a system for fresh water supply, water treatment, sludge storage, and return water recycling for a large-scale fish farm. The system is being built as a standalone unit to avoid impact on the surrounding aquatic environment and is instead connected to municipal water and sewage systems.

2. Automated feed system (Ref. No. 2025-1959)

The support concerns the purchase of an automated feed system for a grow-out system. In addition to the purchase cost, costs for mechanical installation, commissioning, and training are also included. The objective of the investment is the purchase and installation of an automated feed system for a grow-out system.

3. Process equipment for fish farming tanks (Ref. No. 2025-1960)

The support concerns the purchase of fish counters, a fish pump and dewatering unit, oxygen panels, and a chiller with peripheral equipment. The objective of the investment is to acquire and install process equipment for a grow-out system.

4. Process equipment for water treatment systems in RAS (Ref. No. 2025-1962)

The support concerns the purchase of mechanical filters, protein skimmers with ozone systems, lye dosing equipment, lye storage and dilution, as well as water system pumps. The objective of the investment is to acquire and install process equipment for water treatment in a grow-out system.

5. Production system for small fish (Ref. No. 2025-2404)

The support concerns the production of small fish (juveniles/fingerlings) in recirculating systems. The objective of the investment is the installation of a process facility for small fish production.
